The Marketplace is put together by me, Samantha, but I'd never be able to do it without the help and support of my crew, aka my family. My parents, Tom and Lauri, my sister and her husband, Claire and Robert, my aunt and muncle, Mary and Phil, my aunt and cousin, Trish and Lauren, and my mother-in-law Winnie are a crucial part of the Marketplace. Look for us in our green staff shirts and say hello!
We collected donations for West Middle School students for their FACS class Homeless Care Kit project. We collected: 1 pack of water, 4+ packs of crackers, 2 packs of gum, 4 boxes of Band-Aids, 5 boxes of gallon bags, 4+ packs of antibacterial wipes, 15 floss containers, 5 deodorants, 17+ bars of soap, 52 pairs of socks, 39 tubes of toothpastes, 76 toothbrushes, and more!!! Thank you all so much for your generosity and congratulation to Michelle E. for winning the Amazon gift card!
Homeless Care Kits will be donated to the Human Services Program of Carroll County and the students will earn service learning hours for assembling the kits.
